never ever neglet the margins on tanners especialy when fishing on the surface. i have caught and lost some big fish from the margins on tanners so never neglet them.

Agree totally with this. Watched lots of anglers casting into the middle when there are lots of decent fish milling about in the margins.

boiles stuck right under overhanging trees work well especialy if the wind is coming towards you but sit tight on your rods or youre in the tree roots in no time
