The Manns

Hello anyone, i was after a bit of info on the above fishery. I paid Manns a visit last night with a bit of light tackle hoping to catch something apart from Roach. Could anyone give me a bit of advice on this pond. Everything i tried last night did not work. I noticed that there was a load of what i thought was Tench Bubbles but they were going on all night even when i threw some loose feed in the bubbles did not seem to stop. I have been told that this water is only about 18 inches to 2 feet can anyone give me some tips on how to approach this water.

It's not easy any more, but I've also had tench to 2lb on float fished red maggots fished at dead depth and hair rigged artificial corn popped up about an inch on a feeder rig. I've also had a few bream to about the same size caught in the same ways. I haven't had much success using fishmeal groundbait, it seems better with sweeter mixes containing hemp but mix on the dry side so that it breaks up on hitting the water to form a cloud. You really need to fish in the middle, the edges are so shallow and clear that getting bites there is virtually impossible and yes the max depth is only about 2 feet so try to avoid making too much noise or moving about too much because they are easily spooked.
